![]() ![]() This is perfectly fine by me- Talia's earlier works were much shorter, and I often found myself wanting more after. The gameplay loop is short- a typical run of the game will take around 55 to 70 minutes- though there's an achievement for beating a run in under 45 minutes, which is perfectly possible once you've gotten skilled enough. And those tumors were caused by the vocalizations of a being with an uncountable number of giant, six fingered hands that people do human sacrifices to like it's a god, in fact, it's actually called the Ungod. There's guys that mutate into flesh instruments once the giant tumors on their heads reach a certain size. There's giant fish who are taking turns operating a headless corpse like a robot suit and taking breaks to reproduce. It's like, every new body horror enemy you encounter is some new way to creatively mangle someone's anatomy. ![]() In addition, the body horror never really gets stale. Obviously the body horror and gore aren't everyone's thing, but I grew up watching Invader Zim, and being raised by a father who would quote it on the regular, so that personally doesn't bug me. ![]() All I can really think to say is that the game is good, like, quite disgustingly good. I'm having trouble coming up with something profound or eye-opening- it seems warranted seeing as how I've seen everything the game has. ![]()
